Meet The Secretariat

Douglas Ondieki
Executive Director
Douglas Ondieki is the founder of ACHILD Kenya, the secretary of the board and the executive director of the organization. As the executive director he is responsible for providing strategic leadership to the organization, leading the activities of the secretariat and establishing partnerships that help the organization achieve its objectives. Douglas holds a masters degree in educational planning and administration and is currently pursuing a masters degree in monitoring and evaluation from the University of Nairobi. He holds certificate in project management, certificate in monitoring and evaluation and certificate in global economic health from Washington State University. He is a YALI alumni. He has more than 10 years’ experience in the field of education, policy and child advocacy.
Eugene Wanambisi
Chief Finance Officer
Eugene is the Chief Finance Officer, responsible for all the financial reporting, planning, management and other fund-raising concerns of the organization. He has been part of the team, playing a leading role in budget formulation and management and spearheading fund-raising campaigns for the many projects that the organization has been engaged in. Eugene is a qualified financial analyst and consultant having graduated with Bachelors of commerce (Finance) degree from the University of Nairobi, Business School. He is a level three candidate in the CFA program. He has also undertaken training in Financial Modeling and Valuation Analysis, from the Certified Institute of Finance (CFI, Canada).
Wycliff Ochieng
Monitoring and Evaluation Manager
Wycliff is a monitoring and evaluation professional with five years of experience having worked on projects and organizations across the East Africa region. He has vast experience across various disciplines in M&E, institutional strengthening, project management, strategy planning, and implementation, and performance management. As the MEL lead, he is charged with routine M&E, evidence generation, project reporting and quality assurance.
